We did it! Thank you! Battleground phonebank exceeds goal of 1,000 calls.

Hello OFA volunteers,

I just wanted to give you a quick update on today's VOTE2010 Battleground Phone bank in Millwood.   With a goal to call 1,000 voters, the 25 of us were able to surpass our goal by 300 calls!  Absolutely Amazing!

As you all know, this is a crucial race for us in November so your actions have a direct impact on the outcome.  And today we were an important part of the VOTE2010 National Day of Action as we re-energize 2008 voters to do-it-again in 2010!  It is not going to be easy, but we will do it if we take action and focus - just as we did today.

NEXT UP:  This Tuesday in White Plains there will be an important (and timely) forum being sponsored by Weschester For Change called "Energy Legislation and the Environment: Spotlight on Capitol Hill - What is really going on in Washington with energy and environmental reform?"  It will feature experts discussing all the relevant topics, as well as a Q&A with the audience.  I will be there listening, taking notes, and asking questions, and I hope to see a few of you there as well.  Here is a link with details and an RSVP button:  http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/meeting/gpf85s.
